It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that we are to share with you all the loss of one of the founders of Funky Bunk Beds Limited, Russell.

Russell started his battle with Lung cancer on the 8th January 2025 and on the 29th April 2025 fell asleep peacefully. Many of our customers would have had there beds delivered by Russell, especially in the earlier years of our company. Russell’s favourite role in the company was delivering beds all around the country and in his own words ‘loved to see the kids so happy when they first see it’.

We are a family run company and are therefore understandably all very heartbroken and saddened. This is a massive emotional hit to us and we are supporting eachother aswell as all the children sadly left heartbroken also.

We ask for all you lovely followers and customers during this time to understand the expected response delays and where if needed rearrangements of deliveries.

We have the best support network of team around us who will work tirelessly to make sure we keep going and keep putting the smiles on children’s face, in the memory of Russell 🧡
