Our High Sleeper With Front Stairs is a clever space-saving bed featuring staircase access positioned across the front of the bed, creating a more compact length than our standard High Sleeper With Stairs.
Perfect for bedrooms where wall length is limited, the raised sleeping area creates valuable space underneath for play, storage or an optional study desk. Handmade to order in the UK, it can be personalised with different heights, colours, stair storage and optional extras.
Our High Sleeper With Front Stairs is designed to make clever use of bedroom space while providing practical staircase access to the raised sleeping area.
What makes this design different from our standard High Sleeper With Stairs is the position of the staircase. Rather than extending along the length of the bed, the stairs are positioned across the front/end, creating a standard footprint of approximately 78″ long × 56″ wide.
This can make the design particularly useful in bedrooms where available wall length is limited, while still providing the convenience of stairs rather than a ladder.
Raising the sleeping area also creates valuable usable space underneath the bed. Leave it open for playing or relaxing, use it for storage, or add the optional desk to create a dedicated homework and study area.

Please ensure there is suitable access to the bedroom before delivery, including doorways, hallways, staircases, landings and any restricted access areas.
The raised sleeping area of the High Sleeper With Front Stairs is designed for children aged 6 years and over. The current specification states a maximum mattress depth of 7″ / approximately 18cm and a maximum user weight of 75kg.
Always ensure the mattress complies with the specified maximum mattress depth so that the safety barrier remains at the appropriate height above the mattress.
Children should always use the designated staircase to enter and leave the raised sleeping area and should not climb on other parts of the bed.
We recommend carpeted stair treads for additional grip.
Storage drawers should always be closed after use and should not be used for climbing, standing or sitting.
Particular attention should also be given to ceiling clearance, including sloping ceilings, beams, ceiling lights and other overhead fittings.
