Ordering With Funky Bunk Beds FAQ's...
To Place an order with Funky Bunk Beds, firstly choose the desired product from Online Shop. Add this to the basket however Don’t forget to add on any extras which are shown in add section or in options below. Full Payment or A Deposit of £50 can be paid to secure the order.Additionally any adjustments or alterations can be added in the notes section on the checkout page.
There is no limit on how far in advance you can order. Once the order has been placed, Funky Bunk Beds will contact you within 3 working days to confirm the order and set a delivery date. If preferred this can be the next available date or a date further in advance that suits you.
Final payment is due on or before the day of delivery. However If payment is made on delivery, this should to be made before the driver leaves. An invoice via email will be sent which will include a payment link, otherwise cash, bank transfer or PayPal is also accepted.
The lead time varies between 3 and 8 weeks depending on delivery location. For self assemble or collection this is reduced to 2 – 6 weeks. However your can contact us to find out a more precise time frame based on your location.
Yes, both Payment Plans and Finance are indeed available. Payment Plans are available to all giving customers the ability to pay what they can when they can up until the delivery date. Finance is provided through ‘Snap Finance‘ and is based on a credit check. This gives customers the ability to pay in installments once the product has been delivered.
We do not come out to do measure ups due to how busy we are however we can offer assistance to you when measuring. All measurements should take into account any skirting board, radiators, piping etc. If the bed does not fit once delivered we can adjust the size however charges will apply.

Yes assembly is available on all products for £50.

FAQ's About Our Products...
All products are made from either plain 18 mm MDF or Melamine coated MDF. The Melamine coated MDF gives a durable and hard-wearing finish. Most certainly With its plastic coating this is easy to clean and will withstand use for many many years.
All beds are tested to take the weight of an average sized adult (approx 13st). The recommended age is 6+ on any top bunk and 2+ on any bottom bunk.
Most Certainly, designs can be altered to fit any size required. Beds are normally are made to fit standard single mattress size and then the steps are 18inch wide. However we can alter the size of the stairs or the mattress size to enable to best fit to suit your requirements. To find out more on mattresses, the Mattress Size Guide is very useful. Additionally, if necessary bespoke mattress can be supplied.
MDF primer followed by water based Gloss, Satin or Eggshell is recommended. Additionally, Sanding will be required between coats. Afte painting, we recommend leaving the bed in a well-ventilated room for 48 hours. the Mattress Size Guide is very useful. Additionally, if necessary bespoke mattress can be supplied.

Yes, all beds have been safety tested to take the weight of an average sized adult. The tested weight on every bed is 75kg however additional support can be added for peace of mind if required. See Above Frequently Asked Questions for more info. descriptions for this information.
Yes, steps can be on any side of the bed. This can be added to order notes, otherwise if assembly is selected told to the driver on the day.
Delivery Service
We deliver all around the UK Mainland personally. However in areas that we do not deliver to, pallet courier delivery is available for self assemble.
Once assembled, beds are very heavy and solid, and as a result would require taking down to move. Therefore having carpet fitted and decorating beforehand is recommend.
Yes you can request a certain date however this may not always be possible. Please check with us before placing the order to find out if certain date is available to avoid dissapointment.
Deliveries take place Monday – Friday between 8am and 6pm. Please note, arrival time can be any time up to 6pm.
