This includes doorways, hallways, staircases, landings, ceiling heights and any restricted access areas.

Important Safety Information

Upper sleeping areas should only be used by children aged 6 years and over.

Always ensure mattresses comply with the maximum mattress depth specified for your selected configuration. This is particularly important on upper sleeping areas to maintain the appropriate height between the mattress surface and safety barriers.

Children should always use the designated stairs or ladder to enter and leave raised sleeping areas and should not climb on other parts of the bed.

Where stairs are selected, we recommend carpeted stair treads for additional grip.

Storage drawers should be closed after use and should not be used for climbing, standing or sitting.

Particular attention should also be given to ceiling clearance above each upper sleeping area, including sloping ceilings, beams, ceiling lights and other fittings.
