This includes doorways, hallways, staircases, landings, ceiling heights and any restricted access areas.
Raised and upper sleeping areas should only be used by children of the appropriate age specified for the bed.
Always ensure the mattresses used comply with the maximum mattress depth stated for your selected configuration. This is particularly important on raised sleeping areas to maintain the appropriate height between the mattress surface and safety barriers.
Children should always use the designated stairs or ladder to enter and leave raised sleeping areas and should not climb on other parts of the bed.
Where stairs are selected, we recommend carpeted stair treads for additional grip.
Storage drawers should be closed after use and should not be used for climbing, standing or sitting.
